The apartment is spacious, quiet and 2 minutes walk to supermarkets and restaurants. The wifi is good and there is Netflix. It’s in a nice neighbourhood with a local feel to it. As such, restaurants are very reasonably priced as they are not tourist traps. Above all, the couple that runs the apartment, Sandra and Ricardo, are so caring and attentive to any need or question you might have. They are wonderful, charming hosts! I would definitely return.

Nice professional staff and a good breakfast, make this BandB a good place to stay. Beach and restaurants near by. Tips to get around in and around Tarrafal are great. Good beds and a free minibar in the room make you feel at home.

The washing machine was a super useful bonus that we took advantage of. And a kind and generous owner who let us stay late past checkout till late afternoon since our flight was at night. This was much appreciated!

Beautiful and brand new 2 bedrooms apartment/ Magnifico e novo apartamento T2 features a balcony and is located in Praia, within just 1.1 km of Cova Figueira Beach and 1 km of Cabo Verde University. Great host, the communication was easy, the apartment was really nice, near from a mini mercado, from a small restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay, and it was a good value for the money.

Set within the Palmarejo district in Praia, Luxe-Design Imperio II- Petit Déjeuner 5min de la Mer has air conditioning, a terrace, and city views. We had a great stay. Kind hosts, a huge apartment, and rooms in good condition,, everything is good. Also, there are snacks for guests to have a light breakfast. The hosts are really considerate of us and they do quick responses. I highly recommend staying here.

Apartamento Novo, Brand New Apartament T1, Cidadela, Praia, Cabo Verde has a terrace and is situated in Praia, within just 1.1 km of Cova Figueira Beach and 1 km of Cabo Verde University. The appartament was as advertised. Everything brand-new and comfortable. The location is quiet and away from the city center but it is easy to take a taxi.

Situated in Cidade Velha, Cactus Guest House offers beachfront accommodation 8.6 km from Jean Piaget University of Cape Verde and provides various facilities, such as a private beach area, pool with a... The house is so beautiful! The location is great, although the surrounding area (streets) is still under construction so it can be rough terrain to walk through to the main village if you are not able to walk well. Spectaculair view of the sea and the waves crashing on the rocky coast. Breathtaking! House is clean and well maintained. Garden too. Multiple rooms are rented out and you share the kitchen, living room and outside area with swimming pool. The coast in town has a little beach but is more a place where the locals put there fishing boats in the water. Sometimes someone swims there and that is possible but it is dark brown beach sand and quite big waves, so we didn’t swim in the sea there. If you rent a car somewhere you would be able to visit other places in the island from Cidade Velha. Staff very friendly and stay out of your way. We didn’t take the breakfast, but there is the possibility. The caretaker showed us the way to the village and the small supermarket shops for some groceries. There isn’t much available, but Praia is very close by (you can take a local white transportation van for only a euro into Praia on the main road) and it is a very nice place to stay away from the big town. We stayed in multiple places in Santiago and thought this was the most beautiful location to stay in the island.
