In my opinion, it's one of the best locations in Cyprus. Mountains on one side, very calm and beautiful sea on the other side. A flat in a beautiful house, overlooking the sea. It's about 20 meters above the sea, but the place is so quiet and the property is so close to the sea that you can always hear the waves, both when you fall asleep and when you wake up. The sea is very calm on this side of Cyprus. In addition, Pachiamos is located in a bay. There is a trail right from the house, leading to a small beach, about 100 metres wide, surrounded by two rocks, making it a kind of a private beach for 3 houses located above. The entrance to the sea is a bit rocky, with two rocks standing out on the right hand side 20-30 metres from the shore. It was not a problem when I was staying (late October), as the sea was extremely calm, but if there are waves, you may want to go to another beach, just 150-200 metres from the property, at your right. The beach is small pebbles, but from about 40 metres the sea bottom becomes sand. I swam about 400 metres from the shore, and I could still clearly see the sea bottom. Although we stayed in late October, I believe the place is quiet even in high season. The reason is that there only a few houses around, and the village is pretty small. Thank you from Alex.
