Situated on Whitby’s North Promenade, on Western Cliff, The Wheeldale offers cooked breakfasts, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Very friendly staff! Especially Jenna did really a great job and helped us planning our visit. The breakfast was really tasteful und good! We got everything we want to and food was served using regional products.

I have stayed here before and it is absolutely spotlessly clean, the bathroom is very modern and the bed is really comfortable and it's handy for all the shops and bars but still slightly away from all the hustle and bustle.

We enjoyed our stay in Scarborough a lot. The apartment was really nice, sparkling clean, close to both the city center and the beach. The house is located in a quiet area, within walking distance from everything you need (restaurants, pubs & stores). Laura is an excellent host, friendly and responsive. We would definitely recommend it and would like to come back some time.

The bath in the bedroom was the cherry on the cake . The bed was so comfy. The location was perfect. Everything we could ever ask for was there .

House was lovely, perfect location couldn’t have been any better on that side, it had everything required- although there was only one wine glass and we had a problem with the towels which was sorted very quick! When sorting towels the host also brought more wine glasses & a bottle of bubbly to apologise which was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Booked last-minute and Simon the owner was incredibly helpful and informative. The whole house to ourselves, it was lovely and clean. The hot tub was clean and up to the temperature for arrival. Loved our stay and will be back again.

We loved everything about Oliver West's Beautiful 1-Bedroom Retreat in Scarborough. The apartment was perfect and very good value for our three-night stay. We would highly recommend it to couples for a short stay in beautiful Scarborough and we hope to be able to visit again ourselves in the future. The ground floor accommodation comprises a large kitchen/dining/living room with a lovely view over a back garden area; bathroom/WC with a really good shower, and a large bay-windowed bedroom at the front of the property. We appreciated the provision of essentials such as coffee, tea, and washing-up liquid, dishcloth etc. The bedroom was warm, carpeted and comfortable with an exceptionally comfortable king-size bed and quality bedding. There is a wardrobe with plenty of hangers. A small chest of drawers/dressing table would be a welcome addition but not essential. The apartment was warm, clean, very comfortable and well-equipped for all our needs. Although the apartment is on the ground floor of what appears to be a multi-occupancy property, it was quiet and peaceful. Located a short walk from the South Cliff, with busy Ramshill Road en route, the apartment is perfectly located with shops, food outlets and a decent pub within a short distance. Ramshill Road is also on the bus route to Filey with frequent buses. We received clear instructions about how to access the property from our hosts well in advance and everything worked smoothly. It was very helpful to receive clear information about where to park and a parking disk was provided so that we could benefit from the 3 hour free parking outside the property, and in the wider vicinity. We encountered no difficulties at all with regard to parking thanks to the clear information provided by our hosts. The hosts checked in with us by text message during our stay and were absolutely charming! They immediately dealt with an issue that we raised with them and generally, they impressed as the perfect hosts.
