Facing the seafront, Romlan is a guest house offering a 3-star accommodation in Tuk Tuk. It has a private beach area, garden and private parking. We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

Great place with beautiful view and extremely helpful staff. In reality it looks so much better than on the photos. The owner has helped us organise a scooter and they serve delicious food and coffee. It is well situated place, by the beach. The quality to price ratio is exceptional

Featuring a terrace, Tama View offers accommodation in Tuk Tuk. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The room was very nice and clean. No a/c but an oscillating fan kept the room comfortable. Breakfast was very good and they were very nice to accommodate my eating gluten free. Tama speaks great English and while his son doesn’t, he tries and is very helpful. WiFi is very good and suitable for remote work or streaming.

Offering direct access to Toba Lake, Toba Village Inn is set amidst a natural landscape. It boasts an outdoor pool with stunning views of the lake and Pusuk Buhit Mountain. Reno was the best when he picked us up! Very helpful to us. Also had a great driver, and was thankful for Mr. Jay.
