The hospitality is great! Easy communication with the host. Robert was great at getting back to me with questions I had. The place is very clean, comfortable bed. I had an excellent meal there. Hot shower. The view is beautiful. The place is located in a more secluded area, not near the city but very close to the ferry.

Super close to the start of the treks and a lovely view of the river. Staff helped book the tours and transport in and out of Bukit Lawang.

Providing garden views, SeaGate Bungalows in Sabang offers accommodation, a private beach area, an open-air bath and a garden. Super happy we stayed here. Very beautiful and clean cottage directly in front of a private beach with corals and lots of fish. Perfect for snorkeling and you can rent masks there. The restaurant was also great with nice staff. Borja and his wife super chill and helpful. Fully recommended!

A recently renovated guest house situated in Bukit Lawang, Kupu Kupu Garden Guest House & Cafe features a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony. What an amazing place and team! The Guest house is at the end of the village so it has the best of both world (village access & nature with animals and walking trails). My room is very nice with a lovely balcony and river view. The sound of water is loud and relaxing! The guide Wenda we had for a 2 days 1 night jungle trek is so knowledgeable and a really inspiring man. So many cool sightings with of course many ourangutans (my dream come true!). Arif is a terrific host, always chatting with the guests and Risky a talented cook who take great pleasure to share the Indonesian cuisine secrets with the guests (you won't be hungry after diner promise! Actually quite impossible to finish the generous portions of homemade food). Thanks also to Juli and the girls! You are well taken care of at Kupu Kupu Guest House! I already miss this place and the team, real Sumatra hospitality vibes !

Not only is this a paradise on earth, but the people working there are all so genuinely warm, kind, helpful and caring! We got many new friends during our 8 days long stay. We are definitely coming back!

You can relax in the hammock on the balcony and listen to the ocean. In front of the accommodation you can go snorkeling and see many colorful fish. Best is to rent a scooter and explore the island imo. So it's also easier for you to reach surrounding restaurants. The bungalows are simple but nice and clean . Staying here is about the simple life. Bed was comfy. I had a bungalow with AC which worked well. Best tho was the balcony with the hammock and sea view. The owner is also really nice and welcoming. He also offers laundry service and can arrange pickup if you don't rent a scooter. If I come back to Pulau We I definitely will stay here again.

Super lovely staff caring really, really much about every wish. For us as a surfer/non-surfer couple, this was the perfect accommodation as Hima offers great surfing lessons and rentals, but also provides accommodation where you want to spend time at itself. Our expectations towards the bungalows itself were met as it is 1:1 as the pictures, but the staff exceeded our expectations :)
