Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses in Egilsstadir provides adults-only accommodation with a private beach area and a garden. It was far away from the city, close to waterfalls and with a stunning view of the lake. Nicely equipped with everything necessary, fire places added very nice and cozy vibes to it. It was stylish with wooden design, so it created perfect ambiance. It was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. So worth it

Set in Egilsstadir, 5.9 km from Hengifoss, Hengifosslodge Skáldahús has a private beach area, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. Very confy room with a great view, perfect if you plan to visit Hengifoss and/or the Vok baths. The kitchen was perfect and everything was extremely clean.

The Bank Sleeping Guesthouse in Neskaupstaður features a garden and a shared lounge. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. The room was amazing with very comfy beds. Nice interior in general, warm and welcoming. The baths were also amazing, clean and with lots of facilities. Overall it exceeded all our expectations, it was a very enjoyable stay!

A good location for a relaxing stay in Vopnafjörður, Ásbrandsstadir Cottages is a holiday home surrounded by views of the lake. The location is great, you feel like you are at the end of the world, but in reality there is a small village not so far away. The host was very nice and helpful. The facilities are great, everything was working - you have even a washmachine at your disposal. Theoretically there are two separate rooms, but there is no door in between so it is like a one big room - which was not an issue for us. The beds were comfortable.
