Het Miyajima Seaside Hotel ligt op slechts 5 minuten rijden met de gratis pendeldienst van de veerhaven van Miyajima. De accommodatie biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan. This place is a must stay if you are spending the night in the magical Miyajima Island. It's a traditional japanese inn with everything you need and more, it's a short walk from the ferry station and far from the crowds, but the hotel also provides a shuttle bus for guests that is super covenient. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very peaceful view of the sea and the cute deers, and with futon beds that were really comfortable. The food was really good, both dinner and breakfast. I highly recommend to get these meals, not only for the whole experience but also for the convenience since the places in the city closes very early. The hotel also have an onsen, for women and men, ping pong table, hammock and a souvenir shop. Also I cannot forget to mention about the amazing and kind staff, from the reception to the drivers that took us to the city thank you so much for everything. We wished we have stayed one more day to enjoy more this place.

Guest House Gamigami is gelegen in Onomichi, op 3,1 km van Saikon-ji Temple, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. The beauty and the quiet of the area was wonderful after hectic times in Kyōto and Tōkyō. The host was very lively, friendly, and helpful. The tatami room was a nice size and the futons were comfortable. There was air conditioning. Also, we had access to cooking equipment, but only made mocha and microwaved a little food.

Guest House Diphylleia Grayi ligt in Hatsukaichi, op 19 km van Vredespark van Hiroshima en 19 km van Atoombomkoepel (vredesmonument), en biedt accommodatie met een terras en gratis privéparkeren. De eigenaar was zeer attent en vriendelijk. Hij gaf ons goed advies over onze dagtrip naar Miyajima en zocht zelfs voor ons uit waar we het mooist de zonsondergang konden zien. Het is een nieuw, prachtig ontworpen guest house met mooie faciliteiten, inclusief een mooie gemeenschappelijke ruimte waar we koffie en thee konden krijgen en eten konden opwarmen. Als we nog eens naar Hiroshima komen zou ik hier zeker weer verblijven.

GLAMPDOME SETOUCHI-SHIMANAMI is gelegen op 23 km van Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een balkon en gratis WiFi. Gorgeous setting, friendly staff and all round great way to unwind after spending the day cycling
