JamboHouse Lamu is set in Lamu, 300 metres from Gallery Baraka, 500 metres from Lamu Museum, and 500 metres from 18th Century Swahili House Museum. Best place in town. We had such a great time. Arnold is so helpful and you can ask him everything. He has the best tips , what to do. The breakfast is really good and Fred is such a lovely person. Its in the middle of the town you can reach everything by walking. Should we come again to Kenya we would stay there again. Thanks for everything

The staff were so helpful and attentive. Amani was a wonderful host and thoughtfully took care of every detail. He even offered to come and get me in town if I was lost and needed help finding my way. The spice cake at tea time was also a highlight❤️

Definitely have the Kijani Crab Curry!

Everything about being in Shella countless times, is my peace. Ambience, Ben was available to assist with anything needed, good hospitality. And not to mention how accessible it was, you will find everything you need within that space from shops to hotels , beach view and sunrise.

This historical Arabian-style building is located in the UNESCO-listed town of Lamu. It is less than 300 metres from the seafront and 3 km from the white sandy beach. The atmosphere of the place is superb because of the owners Christine and Paul who give it a special note. The building is very special and just behind Lamu Fort which allowed me to enter a Swahili Wedding. It was amazing.

Umma House has a terrace and is situated in Lamu, within just 400 metres of Lamu Museum and 500 metres of Lamu Fort. Guests staying at this villa have access to a balcony. Incredible space with even better people. First, even before we arrived, communication with the host (Tarik) was impeccable. We always felt we were in good hands and that rang true from the moment we arrived especially with the housekeeper Farid who was absolutely excellent and was on top of every need we might have. I should take a moment also to say that the space itself is STUNNING. Absolutely gorgeous with many, many beautiful details. Truly a hidden gem of Lamu.
