Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Situated 300 metres from Arugam Bay Beach, Starfish Cabbana offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. The owner is the highlight of the stay. He is a celebrity chef, the breakfast he serves is top-notch. He goes out of the way to help you. He even decorated the room for my birthday. His suggestion for dinner and bakery were all good. The property is walking distance from the ever bustling beach. Full of greenery.

Very well situated, just out off the busy centre, quiet and still only a few minutes walk to several good restaurants. Varied and tastefull choice for breakfast, good lunch and dinner on demand. But best of all is the kind and welcoming host Basheer who does everything to ensure you have a pleasant stay! He speaks very good English and can arrange different activities. He arranged surf classes for our teenage sons with experienced teachers at a good price who took them to the best surfing spots, lagoon safari, in-house cooking class and transport to our next destination. And the gentile tuktuk-driver Haroun was always there to take us where we needed! Thanks Basheer and Haroun for the nice time in Arugam Bay!

Hilltop Cabanas, a property with a garden, is situated in Komari, 22 km from Lagoon Safari - Pottuvils, 23 km from Muhudu Maha Viharaya, as well as 30 km from Crocodile Rock. The most beautiful picturesque spot, so peaceful and literally on the Lighthouse surf break. Staff are so lovely, friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and they bring you anything you order to the multitude of beach beds. They've thought of so many little details to make everything so easy and pleasant

Situated in Arugam Bay, Forcus Cabanas offers peaceful and quiet accommodation set amidst lush tropical greenery. It operates a 24-hour front desk and provides comfortable rooms with free WiFi access.... Very nice property… lots of greenery. The room was big and spacious with a huge king size bed extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was big and nice. Very clean place well maintained.

Offering a private beach area and sea view, Azeer's is located in Arugam Bay, a few steps from Pasarichenai Beach and 4 km from Crocodile Rock. A hidden gem! My husband and me loved this place. The host is very welcoming and will help with anything. We've been there for a whole month and couldn't ask for more: fully equipped kitchen, sleeping room with air con, an own backyard with lots of palm trees, beautiful sunrises and a big deck upstairs. The house is actually at the beach, so you can watch the ocean anytime. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place.

Located in Arugam Bay, a few steps from Pasarichenai Beach, Salty Alchemy provides accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking and a garden. Beautiful place, great location and wonderful owners (and gorgeous dogs)! Julia was so helpful and went above and beyond recommending local things for us to do. The place is right on a private stretch of beach which you get all to yourselves to stroll along the beach and stargaze at night but it’s also a short walk away from the centre of town.

Secret Bay Panama is a beachfront property set in Arugam Bay, 12 km from Kudumbigala Monastery and 14 km from Crocodile Rock. Private location, extremely helpful and polite owner and staff, authentic Sri Lanka beach life vibe, everything was clean and tidy, Iroshana helped us with just about anything we could think off from arranging breakfast, barbeque dinner, recommending surf bays and trips to conversations about Sri Lanka ways of living. Thank you for everything, we will always remember and hope to come back one day.

Located within 100 metres of Arugam Bay Beach and 3.3 km of Muhudu Maha Viharaya in Arugam Bay, Baywatch Arugambay provides accommodation with seating area. Really enjoyed my stay here, the room was basic but had everything I needed. Mosquito net worked very well and the bathroom/shower was spacious. I was greeted with a smile every time and Murshith was super friendly and really enjoyed getting to know you. He also helped arrange a surf lesson for me last minute and it was one of my favorite activities I did in Arugam Bay. Extremely close to the beach, just 1-2 minute walk and very close to restaurants and all the action at night.
