They really took care of me while I stayed at their bungalow for almost three weeks. When I left for two days, I could leave my luggage at their place, which was really kind. Mia is an excellent cook, I tried a lot of different dishes and I always liked it. I did a cooking class as well. The Six Senses Beach is in 10-15 minutes walking distance and one of the best beaches on the island. Sometimes there are no other people around - and that happened in February! When you go back in the late afternoon, you should definitely use mosquito repellent - these mosquitoes are the only annoying thing on the island. I had to work on my computer a lot, there is a table with one chair at each bungalow. The WiFi is good enough to do normal computer work. You can always go in the restaurant with best internet connections and AC if you want. The island is calm and not touristy, which is amazing. I hope it stays like that forever.

Cozy and quiet retreat in tranquil Khao Lak! The bungalow was spacious with a fridge and sink, but no ability to cook. The pool was a great way to cool off. Cleaning every morning. 15 min walk from the beach. 7/11 down the road (400 meters) and a delicious local Thai restaurant on the way (100 meters). The owner was very kind and friendly and spoke English. He let us store our bags for a couple hours after check out. Plus, he has lots of kittens!!

She helped us book excursions and a scooter with no problem at all. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, nature, and warm hospitality. 🌿✨

The breakfast choices were lovely and beautifully presented. Our room was well appointed, very clean and very comfortable. The view? Incredible!. The staff are wonderful! Our host, Don was warm, helpful & welcoming, and organized an excellent boat tour of surrounding islands that he conducted personally. We so enjoyed our time at Hillhouse. We can't say enough about it!

The staff were super helpful and friendly and helped us organise a transfer to ko lipe and even took us to the pier and waited for us to get on the boat so it all went smoothly! Super big bed and so comfy! For the price I can’t fault it one bit. The photos don’t do it justice!
