She had no problem going the extra mile to ensure guests were satisfied. After our stay at the hotel, we can state the same for all staff members. Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden is a textbook example of top hotel service and a source of inspiration for all hotels developing their luxury offer. The Aquapura SPA Wellness Centre stretches a staggering 3600 square metres and is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious in this part of Europe. A rich offer includes an indoor and outdoor pool, a panoramic sauna in the garden and a relaxation space with water beds and a SPA cinema. Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden is absolutely one of the most prestigious hotels within the Falkensteiner portfolio. Similarly to a world-class athlete, it faces the task of beating its own standards and thus retaining its spot among the best in the hotel industry. When we last evaluated the hotel, the Falkensteiner hotel group had only started managing it. Today, it is in peak performance and is ageing almost as well as the finest Bordeaux wines. The hotel has stood the test of time, considering fifteen years have passed since the last substantial investment. Is the hotel the flagship of tourism in Carinthia? Undeniably. Led with German precision and flaunting Austrian charm, the hotel is superb in every segment.

ON THE LAKE IT CAN'T BE BETTER. Exceptional kindness of the owner and staff. Although I reserved only one apartment without my special request, they gave me two for the same price, one next to the other with a view of the lake. That has never happened to me anywhere. The facility is perfectly organized, although the reception is only open until the afternoon. You can get all information by phone, and most services by pressing a button.

Absolutely everything is perfect. We stayed in one of the loft rooms. Lovely balcony with a beautiful view of the lake. The choice at the breakfast buffet was unbelievable. The omelettes were 1st class. Amazing staff.

Small apartment with seperate bedrooms for parents and children, very well equipped (eg coffee maker was one Italian and one classic). Has a small garden and direct access to lake, pedal boats for free assigned to the apartment. Parking slot available. Surroundings excellent, biking, hiking and many facilities for kids, you do not get bored (Karnten Card to be purchased).

We had a great stay at the Boutiquehotel. The apartment looks just like the photos and offers everything we needed. The selling point for us was obviously the terrace and being at the private beach right in front of our apartment, the view of the lake and the surrounding hills. I also enjoyed being able to take their SUP and just go for a paddle around the lake. Overall, an amazing stay, 10/10 would come back, Velden is also quite nicer in person than we initially anticipated.

    It a cozy apartment with private beach on the lake. There is a wooden pier, you can freely jump to the lake. We were there at the end of the June and it was very quiet, just a few guest stayed in the building. Shop Billa and free football and volleyball playgrounds are very close. You can also find there mini-golf. There are numerous cycling routes. We definetely want to come again.

    Friendly owners, they surprised us several times with a delicious dessert, and we got a surprise drink to welcome us. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The house is located a five minute walk from the beach, 200 metres from Billa supermarket.
