We had a wonderful time at Coconuco Beach Resort. It is a quiet oasis just 10 minutes walking distance outside of buzzing Palomino. We really had a great and relaxing time. The rooms are very clean, the premises are well looked after and the staff went out of their way to make this stay a 10/10.

We liked everything, the place is very nice and quiet, the room is elegant, very spacious and clean. The breakfast was very rich every day, fruits from the region and a very good cappuccino that is included in the breakfast. very good wifi and excellent location, I will return since it is also rented for months. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

This is a wonderful place, located on a tranquil beach where it is possible to swim (no strong currents). The Managers are super friendly and service minded. The food is delicious. They have a Whats App group so you can order food or drinks to the beach, and get updated about events and possible excursions etc. The accommodation is clean and very nicely designed. There are a range of animals including a dog, two geese and two parrot chicks on the premises.

Its right on the beach and has a full Beach Bar Cabana,the Restaurant is outstanding and very Original in its menu.The Chef is obviously a Professional. Service is top notch and the Owners are Lovely.Its stylistically Tuum with an unmistakable Colombian flair.I recommend this place totally! Private driver roundtrip from Barranquilla airport 100.00 and to Tayrona NP is 80 roundtrip...well worth the Money

I was at Makao in February and had a great stay! The location right on the beach is fantastic, rooms are clean, and we enjoyed the food and cocktails from the restaurant/bar. You can take surf lessons right in front of the hotel and we were able to book river tubing there as well. The staff are really friendly and helpful, special thanks to Jesús and Anderson!

It’s one if not the best place on the beach in Palomino. It has a big bit of beach front. It’s got the beach vibe from the surfers, it’s close to the bars, and it’s got pretty rooms. We had the closest room the the sea, with aircon- fantastic. Large and beautiful. Check you have aircon room! Palomino itself is a backpacker thing with more expensive hotels beginning. I love the relaxed vibe in the evening, 5$ cocktails on the beach at sunset, music blaring (not from Casa coral je- from other places)

Location, location. Just far enough from town to be wonderfully peaceful, right on the beach, not so far to be remote. Lovely grounds full of birds. Our bungalow was spacious and clean with a fridge and comfortable bed. Beachfront chairs and loungers and shade. Great walks both directions along the beach.

The pool is excellent. The place is right on the beach with an upstairs area with hammocks to relax in and listen to the ocean. The dorm rooms are clean, nice and spacious with individual fans and a private bathroom. The dorms are set in an immaculately kept garden away from the sound of the busy, main street, although not far to walk.
