The 400 year old castle is a stunning building in a beautiful location. The experienced and friendly staff provided excellent service. There was a wide range of natural and delicious food at breakfast, and dinner in the restaurant was first class. The extraordinary reception rooms in the old building available for guests were atmospheric and full of character.

My favourite hotel while on Scandinavian tour. Hotel worth trying and staying more nights. Rooms may be smaller, basic but very comfortable and clean.
