The location was incredibly peaceful. Ideally, It was situated amongst rice fields, which was just divine. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and just lots of fun 😊 to be around.They were very accommodating for all my needs. Nothing ever was difficult, always willing to help with big smiles. They went the extra mile for my birthday and made it such a special evening.. The spa and wellness centre was just exhilarating overlooking the jungle ... Had such a wonderful time.

We stayed 3 nights in the Damai, in one of the villas with private pool. The accommodations were truly fantastic and the domain is very well maintained. When entering the lobby, the first thing you see is the open swimming pool with an amazing view, located near the bar and restaurant. After check-in we were guided to our room, an amazing villa with private pool and with full privacy garden. The room is nice, very clean, with an outdoor shower and bath. They staff cleans the room every day, and comes by multiple times a day, to open the window covers in the moring (when you're at breakfast), clean and make up bed, close the covers in the evening and prepare bed for sleep, or bring fresh fruits. Overall the staff of the Damai is so friendly and welcoming, the restaurant serves great food and breakfast. This was truly a remarkable stay and I would definitely recommend staying in the Damai if you're looking for rest and calmed. Thank you, I would really like to come back one day.

Lovely lady which is owner and her partner are so helpful and give you all recommendations. After hectic day in Padang Bai and long travel, this place was just calm and warm that gave us exactly what we needed: warm, friendly welcome, arranged dinner to be delivered, arranged us trip for next day, no bargains, just helpful staff. We loved the views, we loved the monkeys, we loved the pets, but most of all we loved the owner, Sri who really made our holiday for us and looked after us like family. Her food is also *incredible*!

The house had a good size and the location was perfect. Just a five minute stroll from the beach and some nice restaurants. The decor and the flair of Lata Lama are beautiful. Nice and friendly staff.
