We’ve visited Italy many times and stayed in a variety of hotels and b&bs. We would rate the Scirocco o hotel amongst our top experiences … definitely the top now that we visit Italy for relaxation on beaches rather than cultural experiences. This hotel had the best combination of location (beachfront), accommodation including amenities, proximity to some of the best public beaches in Italy and restaurants in nearby communities. Our second room was bright, spacious and well laid out. The shower was spacious with plenty of water pressure and hot water (which is often lacking in Italy). Even though we speak no Italian, the staff, who spoke some English, always endeavoured to understand and accommodate our requests and questions. The young woman that cleaned our room did a remarkable job of keeping our room immaculately clean. The breakfast was served in a rooftop room or terrace (depending on weather). There was a great selection of pastries, fruit served with a fantastic endless view of the Ionian Sea.We fully intend to return next September for a longer stay.

Amazing property for a beach getaway in the Salento area! Great location as a base to different see beaches, restaurants, towns etc. (We just went to one beach as per the Host’s recommendation, and a great beach it was! The area has many beaches within a 15 mins drive). Loved their pool! The host is really helpful and kind. Free parking on site was very helpful. Big and tasty breakfast. Impeccably clean rooms. And each room has a little outdoor space with a table and drying rack. Overall, it made for a very comfortable stay.

Excellent location, very clean, fresh and well equipped. Our host, Sara was very helpful and was there to meet and show us around. Local bar del Moro was great for food, drinks and super friendly staff.

    The sea is fantastic, absolutely clear light blue and green water. In the sea about 200 m you can still stand but there is enough water to swim. On the beach it is possible to rent an umbrella and two beds (15€), also to go to very good bar or restaurant. The owner is very nice, kind and helpful. There weren't enough equipment in the kitchen, but next day we have everything what we need.
