Easy walk to the harbour and historic town centre, which was lovely, but the few hundred meters of distance and its elevated position give plenty of peace, privacy and a spectacular view of the bay from the terrace. Easy access to free swimming at the bottom of the steps without having to pay for a spot on the beach for a day. Easy to catch a ferry to the Cinque Terre from the harbour.
