Absolutely everything about this resort is incredible!! We were celebrating our honeymoon and it was magical spending our time in secrets Akumal. Everything is done to perfection and that’s all thanks to the amazing staff they have. We loved seeing the entertainment team everyday and getting involved in all of their activities. Max, jonas, Abraham and Gina were amazing ❤️ The food and drinks in the resort were such high quality. We loved the pizza by the pool and also loved the grill for dinner! We snorkelled with the turtles which I’d highly recommend! Amazing experience! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so incredibly enjoyable. We didn’t stop smiling the entire trip and we have memories forever!

The hosts were superb - friendly and helpful. We stayed here after a long road trip around the Yucatan. It was a great way to decompress and enjoy a quiet area. We could have taken advantage of all the Bahia amenities but chose to enjoy the Country Club setting itself. We played a round of golf on the Par 3 course which was tricky but fun - especially with a family of coatis to greet us on the 5th! The bird and animal life on the estate is impressive as are all the amenities such as the restaurants and hotels. The room was spotless, comfortable and spacious and we greatly appreciated the pool with a view! We made use of the fridge and were impressed with the microwave although were not sure how one could use it without utensils etc. The view over the water and jungle was lovely.

Perfect private location for relaxing in the sun in pure 5 star luxury, everything from the Bach, the pool, the rooms with the most comfortable beds EVER to the most fabulous foods ever eaten anywhere in the world. The most beautiful beach I've been to so far. Dreamlike environment, wonderful sea, corals, raccoons, huge butterflies, real jungle environment, everything perfect. Very nice host, the apartment is comfortable, spacious, the bed is huge and comfortable. The sea is fantastic from the terrace. For everyone I recommend this place!

This is our fourth stay here. Our rooms arei always very comfortable. The beds are the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The breakfasts were delicious. The scenery as we ate every morning was of the bay and boats and swimmers. The rooms are always cleaned spotlessly. The staff is warm and friendly, and always very professional. Our rooms were steps away from the beautiful beach where every morning our camastros were set up under our favorite palapa. Our favorite palapa was so close to our rooms that it was quick and easy to return to our rooms to get more drinks or to use the restroom. We love this hotel and it’s beautiful location!

    The location on the beach is perfect overlooking the ocean, sitting on the balcony or lying in bed listening to the ocean was fantastic. The pool and beach are ideal for swimming and relaxing.

    The room was very comfortable and clean, however if you are thinking about staying here I would definitely recommend paying extra for an ocean view room - we didn't and I'm sure we would have made more of the property had we had an ocean view and terrace. The private beach (where turtles lay their eggs overnight) was a bonus (bring bug spray!) and free use of snorkelling and kayaks was a very nice touch. A great place if you're looking for a relaxing few days.

    Great Villa! Pay extra to get ocean view as it’s worth it. Daily cleaning is great and the villa was really comfortable and well equipped. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Turtles lay eggs on the beach at night!

    The hotel is situated literally on the beach you have the ocean in 5 meters, it is amazing! Also they have a hammock on the terrace, very relaxing it was one of may favourite places) The room was very clean, no complaints about that eather. A lot of space, nice living room with a kitchen, where you have everything you need to prepare some meal. And like I said in the beginning - breathtaking view from the windows!
