The accommodation was stunning—an enormous, beautifully decorated, stylish apartment with everything spotlessly clean. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and were genuinely saddened that we couldn’t stay longer. If we visit New Zealand again, we will definitely return and stay here. Once again, we thank the hosts for everything they did for us. We highly recommend this accommodation to everyone.

This is the most beautiful place we have stayed . The villa was so spacious, well equipped, airy, a fabulous view and so comfortable. We have rated good value for money because though quite pricey all the above made it worth the money. A great base for exploring Doubtless Bay.

Holiday Adventurers, I am Swiss living a life of Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental and Ritz Carlton for the past 6 decades. Retired now I am on a 140 day New Zealand A to Z adventure. I began from Auckland International Airport heading north toward Cape Reinga NZ's northern tip. Accommodations got worse the further north I went. Search after Search zero then out of the Booking.Com huge offering pages popped Doubtless Bay Villas !! Pictures can be Hollywood but I felt that this was real so I took a shot and paid a month in advance for 14 days. After a 6 hour drive I pulled into the development following the perfect instructions provided. I never take anything out of the car until I have walked through a property. I walked into the first floor and went WOW ! Second floor WOW !! Perfect is all I can say. I spent two weeks living in a beautiful post card !! A special mention to the staff !! Mark and Jane went so far to support me that they offered unbelievable unexpected goodies like an assortment of Nespresso Capsules etc etc If you hope for a 5 star experience at 3 star prices Mark and Jane's Doubtless Bay Villas is the way to go when traveling north of Auckland !!! Great location, just across the road from the waterfront and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. You get the entire apartment, one of six in a small block, which has plenty of room (unless you plan on cooking for a large group, the kitchen is on the small side). Very comfortable large bed. Ideally located for a trip to Cape Reinga, which I did comfortably in a day by motorbike, as it's only 20 KM from SH1. Met the owners who were very welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Very comfortable appartment-style room with a walk-out terrace. The facilities are modern and updated. Room had everything for cooking own meals: fridge, stove, microwave even a dishwasher. GREAT INTERNET connection. Laundry facilities on-site. Nice beach in front of the property.
