Quiet, great beaches and staff amazing. Fully recommend.

a wonderfully quiet complex in a fascinating landscape. Kate is an amazing host and manager. there is always coffee and fresh water. sometimes we got even some fruits or sweets to try. Everybody is always kind and caretaking. The cottages are equipped with mosquito nets and fans. comfortable mattress. large storage area and hanger. Everything is very clean upon arrival and is cleaned on demand. There are comfortable chairs on the shady veranda. The toilet is an incredible experience, you can see the starry sky and the birds in the trees to the side. There is no on-site restaurant, but you can eat great at the Bar or Eco Horizon on the beach in front, both a very short walk away. I love Rakkan Resort because of the traditional style, the calm and friendliness of the owners and staff. One sleeps fantastically and restfully. There are many exciting animals to watch and incredible landscape to explore. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet.

A beautiful private beach, good food and top service

Everything! From Lori and all the staff at the resort to the gorgeous location and its peaceful beach and surroundings. The bungalows are beautifully made and they have all you need and quite spaced out one from each other. We were very happy to have reusable water bottles to refill at the restaurant. Food was delightful. You can use free kayaks to check out the mangroves and explore the little islands. We will come back if we ever travel to Thailand again.

Beautiful location and resort on an (almost) empty island. We loved every minute of our stay and would return in a blink. The appartments (huts) were super cool and unique, with a lot of small details. When we mentioned that the bed was a little to hard for our likeing, we immediatly got a topper. Also the beach was a dream
