Our host, Resat, is a retired Naval officer, and speaks good English. He was very helpful in so many ways - no request was too much - he helped arrange a driver to take me to one of the nearby WW1 war graves, and he also helped to return a pair of expensive trainers to our hotel in Istanbul. What a kind man. The hotel is very convenient for the local ferry service which connects to Canakkale, and Eceabat is a short taxi drive for Gallipoli tours, restaurants etc. Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was superb - the Full Turkish.

Helped me check in at late night and let me stay in the lobby for my late night bus. It is right in the centre of the city, not far from the clock tower, pier or the bus station. Very responsive to help. The breakfast is barebone but it is fine.

Excellent location and great view over the Bosporus. Watching the ferry’s back and forth from Istanbul. Breakfast was plentiful and very friendly staff.
