TanzaniaI liked the reception from staff when we arrived and especially Klaus. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. The place is literally along the beach and we went kayaking at the mangroves, sailing and snorkeling. All arranged by Klaus and his team. We had had lunch on the boat, freshly prepared below the deck whilst enjoying the sun and the breeze on the sea. This is a hidden gem in Tanga and I invite you to visit and you will not regret.

We were the only guests and enjoyed all the comfort of Villa Matalai - amazingly tasty vegetarian food, really nice contact with the managers and owners. The upstairs open room was great - feeling the ocean breeze while sleeping. We felt straight at home and could have stayed at least for two more nights.
