We arrived tired and hot after walking here from Divjakë, and we got the best room with plenty of space, a fridge, terrace with table and chairs and an excellent bathroom with a powerful shower. There is mosquito mesh on the windows and doors in the rooms, so you can have them open without getting eaten. The food in the restaurant is unbelievably good and very fairly priced. The fish dishes we had were fresh and delicious, the pasta was better than most I've eaten in Italy. Definitely try the grilled prawns and sea bass, they were exceptional. We also had delicious breakfasts here, cooked to order with freshly made bread and local honey and preserves. Couldn't fault it. Our host, Andy, was superbly helpful and kind, chatting to us about Albania, giving us recommendations of where to walk and what to see, playing the best music in the restaurant (!), and he even gave us a lift back to Divjakë on departure as we hadn't been able to find a taxi service.

He almost felt like a friend, you feel immediately at home. His parents unfortunately dont speak english, but they welcome you at the accomodation and are just as friendly. Geri also invited us for a trip through nature, but unfortunately we did not have the time to do that.

I'm not sure I've ever stayed in a local host that was quite so accurately described, perfectly central location or that had such a proactive and helpful host! The apartment is spacious and beautiful, very clean, has everything you need, lovely relaxing balcony and an extremely comfortable bed.

The rooms have everything you could ever need and there are a lot of great restaurants in the area. There is a beautiful, large beach a 10 min walk away.

Nature in Divjaka is perfect, there is a lot of space for walking trought big trees, and spend a good time with family in nature. Owner of house Altin was very friendly and warm welcome, giving us a good instructions and propose very good fish restourant in Divjaka. The position of Divjaka is good if you wabt to visit more places from 1 to 2 hours by car, Berat, Vlora, Gjirokaster, Fier (Apollonia) , Cape of Rodon...
