This absolute beachfront property is a 5-minute drive from Bowen Golf Course and a 7-minute drive from Bowen Summergarden Cinemas. We accidently landed in this little paradise! Multiple gorgeous beaches surrounding. We made a last minute booking as we wanted to get closer to our departure airport (one hour South) and got lucky that someone had made a last minute cancelation! The view from our room was a dream. Obviously a popular family resort and very busy, but still nice and quiet at night for good sleep! Would have loved to spend a week or two!

The apartment was beautiful clean cool and bright. Everything you could need for your stay was there. We ate out on the balcony a few nights which was lovely. Bed super comfy, couch was great. Just the whole experience was lovely. Close enough to town but quiet which was really nice and like 2 minutes from the ferries to Hamilton island. One thing I'd say is just be careful on the surface in the pool if you have snaggy kind of swimwear material. Not a bad thing but I just got a couple of catches on my swimwear. But lovely pool! Lovely host, couldn't have been nicer I'm sure would have been there if we needed her but we didn't as it was perfect. The only disappointment....I wish we had stayed longer.

Set in Hamilton Island, 1.2 km from Catseye Beach, Hidden Cove on Hamilton Island by HIHA offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. This apartment is less than 1 km from Hamilton Island Marina. The apartment features an outdoor swimming pool and free shuttle service. We were greeted by someone the airport and driven to Hidden Cove. The unit also comes with a golf cart/buggy. The buggy was at the airport, and my husband drove it to the until while our greeter drove the rest of us and our luggage to the unit. The layout was great for our family of 6. Three bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom plus an additional half bathroom. The views were amazing. Great balconies. The infinity edge pool was gorgeous. Only having a 4 seater buggy was challenging because there were 6 of us. I don't know if a second buggy could be rented and where it could have been parked. There was only enough parking at the unit for one. Transportation back to the airport was arranged by the rental agency. We had to check out at 10, but our flight was not until 3, so they took us to resort center to each lunch, shop, etc while we waited and then took us to the airport closer to our flight time.

Airlie guest house offered such good value for money. It is located so close to the main street in Airlie, in a beautiful house, and run by a lovely host and 2 helpers. The room was really well decorated and so clean. The common areas shared with the other guests (such as kitchen) was impecable. The breakfast in the morning was simple but a real life saver. My room had the bathroom outside of the room but it was private, and very spacious/clean. The host will also guide you through tours that can be done in the area. I had a wonderful 3 night stay with my partner.
