Several bars and restaurants within a 1 km range which makes doing everything on feet possible. A great plus is that there’s a commercial centre just across from the street with restaurants, shops and a a hypermarket. This was very convenient for us in the end.

Homely, clean and very well decorated. The staff are lovely and caring, without being nosey. This place is proof that “affordable” doesn’t need to be cheap and nasty. It’s affordable and really well maintained by people who care. I was on my own and met other cool guests from different parts of the world at breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

The property is close to Our Lady of Rosary church, Matriz Square and Culture House. The property is non-smoking and is set 1 km from Praia do Cais. I honestly loved this pousada! The bed was big and so comfortable! Very clean too. We never got to use the swimming pool but it looked amazing. It is at a good distance from city center and 3 minutes from the bus stop which was handy. All perfect! Breakfast was my favourite.

I basically felt at home from the moment I checked in. I liked the vibes at the hostel, how the staff treated me, the breakfast and the view from my bedroom was terrific. I would definitely recommend this hostel. Matter of fact, I am planning to book it again when I come back to Rio.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. By far the best hotel we have ever stayed. We were here for 3 nights inclusive of our wedding night and everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. Even our dog loved his stay at the hotel.
