Felt like we were staying with a friend. She went above and beyond for recommendations for us. Assisted us with laundry, and provided a wonderful breakfast every morning. The location was absolutely perfect. Quiet, right by the train, and close to surrounding activities and restaurants.

Seehotel Gotthard wordt beheerd door een familie en ligt in Weggis, aan de oever van het Meer van Luzern, op 25 km van Luzern, en beschikt over 2 restaurants, een pizzeria, een bistro en kamers met... We spent a week in the hotel in April. It is a beautiful property and a great base for walks to Hertenstein, Vitznau and to the cable car to mount Rigi. The hotel is near the ferry dock which provides an easy way to reach the many small pretty towns on the Lake Lucerne. The hotel staff is very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast buffet is simply delicious! It is a very good opportunity to sample local breads, cheeses and cold meat cuts, and the hostess will also cook eggs to your liking. Our room with the lake view was so pretty! Highly recommend the hotel.

Dein Traum direkt am See is gelegen in Walchwil, op 27 km van Leeuwenmonument van Luzern, en biedt aan het strand accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een privéstrand en gratis WiFi. The property is set in a stunning area. Whilst Switzerland in general is extremely picturesque, you cannot beat the views which are on your door stop. You are set on Lake Zug with views of the surrounding mountains. Whilst slightly off the beaten track it is easy accessible with the train station a short 5 minute walk away with good connections. Not that you’d know because you don’t hear the trains! You can swim in the pool or take a swim in the lake or even better… paddle boarding! The outdoor area is well decorated with the sun setting down throughout the day. The property itself is designed for couples but is well designed, clean and modern. The host is happy to be contacted throughout the stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again despite being on the pricier side which I think is currently a fair value.

Swiss Paradise Weggis heeft uitzicht op de bergen, en biedt accommodatie met een terras en een balkon, op 3 minuten lopen van Strand Lido Weggis. De locatie is geweldig! Net als María Carolina!! Ze heeft enorm snel en goed geholpen in het terugsturen van iets dat we vergaten mee te nemen. En de WiFi is snel. Snel genoeg om te kunnen werken, streamen en (video)bellen. Daar kunnen veel appartementen elders nog wat van leren (je weet wie je bent, Frankrijk).

Boutique Guesthouse Villa Pescheria B&B bevindt zich in Weggis in de regio Luzern (Kanton), dicht bij Strand Lido Weggis. I loved everything about this property. It was spacious and well laid out and had an incredible view of the lake and snow capped mountains from upstairs. The host Nadja was exceptional, so flexible with great communication. I chose to stay in Weggis and do day trips to Lucerne and Rigi which worked out perfectly.
