This place is a little gem. It is small but cleverly put together with an outdoor seating area which is quiet when the women upstairs isn't having a loud phone conversation at the window - the host soon put a stop to that when asked so top marks there! Our host was most informative and helpful which was a bonus.The area around the accommodation is very nice with a number of dining options, stores and scenic strolls. Creperie Le Platin was a real find - doesn't look much but really good! Parking is adequate on the street with overnight free. The island itself is terrific. Great for a drive around with lots of wonderful towns. La Rochelle is a wonderful little city for a wander around.

L'Hôtel Le Sénéchal sorge nel cuore di Ars-en-Ré, accanto al porto di Ars-en-Ré e a 2 km dalla spiaggia di Combe À L'eau. The decor and settings of this hotel were stunning. Beautiful tasteful furnishings, select and interesting little places to sit, wonderful foliage and courtyard. It was extremely restful and welcoming and a real pleasure to return to each day.

Amazing garden and very cute room. Breakfast is a big plus! We stayed only one night but the environment was very tranquil and we felt like it was our home. We definitely recommend it! Bonus is the owner's small cat that you might see in the garden sometimes ❤️ Great location as well, we found a very nice restaurant in the main square of the village 6 mins away.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff and owners. They are so nice in the restaurant and hotel. The hotel is in a great location. The room was quite small but clean and a great bed and shower. The balcony view was wonderful. The restaurant is very good and fairly priced.
