We chose this hotel mainly based on location and reviews — but what we discovered truly amazed us! This is a real paradise for children. Yes, parents are well taken care of too, but the main guests here are definitely the kids. Everything throughout the hotel is designed with children in mind: toy cars, play areas, drawing boards around every corner, a kids’ room, a special buffet at child height with a child-friendly menu, and a water park with zones for all ages. We only wish we had known about this place when our kids were younger. Of course, when you’re on holiday with kids, you’re still a parent — but this hotel makes life so much easier.

My grandson has celiac disease and every morning they waited him with delicious GF food. He was happy and we were all grateful. The hotel has a restaurant which is fantastic. We had some truly memorable meals there, including my grandson. The pool was fun. Balatonszemes is a quaint place with great beaches and restaurants and confectioneries. We especially enjoyed the ice cream place in this hot weather. The room had great air conditioning but there were screens on the windows and as it cooled down for the night we opted to sleep by the open windows. Very quiet place at night.
