I loved that the property was beach front! It was so relaxing waking up next to the water. The sauna was a great touch, we used it both days and it was such a treat! Tigh Fitz is a charming, family-owned property that has been in the Fitzpatrick family for generations. Penny was absolutely delightful. Her place was just perfect and we had the most wonderful weekend on Inis Mór. Go raibh maith agat!

The location is stunning, on a quiet side of the island and on a hill with wonderful views. With rented bikes we got around easily. The room was very comfortable, and the downstairs sitting area was cozy and good for meeting people and chatting. Breakfast was delicious and the hostess very kind and helpful.

Aran Islands Hotel, on Inis Mor, has spacious en suite bedrooms, some with balconies and views of Kileaney Bay and Kilronan Harbour. It has a restaurant and bar and free internet access. The hotel staff went above and beyond. I got a free upgrade into a chalet with a beautiful sea view. The pan fried sea bass I had for dinner was amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean and all the staff were great, particularly Joanna on reception who arranged for my phone charger to be put on the ferry to the mainland, after I left it in my room, and the hotel manager who took it down to the ferry port. Cannot fault this hotel, highly recommended.
