The host was amazing, one of the most cheerful person I have met in Japan. I was completely in awe when I saw the interior of the house, so beautiful. The old house was renovated while preserving the soul of the almost 100 years old building.

The price–quality ratio is honestly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and on my last day, Kami even prepared some homemade onigiri for me to take for lunch, they were so tasty and such a thoughtful gesture. I truly felt cared for throughout my stay. This was the best place I stayed at in Japan, and when I return to Amami, I will definitely come back here.

We stayed in the private room for a couple of days and it was very spacey and comfortable. If you visit Itoshima this is a good place to stay because it's close to the train and bus station and located to several good restaurants.
