It's situated at walking distance to Mirissa fishing harbor where whale watching tours start and also less than 1.5 km from the secret beach and <1km from Mirissa town. The rooms are comfy, well maintained and come with all the amenities. The staff is very friendly and courteous and provides excellent service. And flexibility at arrangements is also noteworthy. And all of this comes at a very fair asking price. If you're visiting Mirissa area this is the easiest to recommend. But you may have to make reservations in advance. Great place, stuff was super friendly and the rooms are very spacious and clean. Location is absolutely perfect for some beach days.

Our room (budget double room) was basic but included everything we needed, besides we loved the whole aestetic of this place. The room service was excellent. Everyday when we came back from our morning surf the room was absolutely perfect. Enrico, the owner, is lovely and fun to chat to and gave us helpful tips surrounding the area. With KOMOREBI he truely build a special place where we felt very taken care of. The two cute little kittens were the cherry on top.

I had the absolute best time in Hiriketiya thanks to Charitha and his family! I was supposed to stay for 5 days, but I ended up extending to 3 weeks — and honestly, I would’ve stayed even longer if I could have. Charitha goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are comfortable and happy. He often organizes meals, snacks, and drinks (his wife is an amazing cook!). He’s super responsive on WhatsApp if you have any questions or concerns, and he’s always genuinely happy to help. He is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and a true example of Sri Lankan hospitality. The facilities themselves were excellent — I have no complaints at all. The location is also perfect: surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and boutiques, and just a couple of minutes from the beach. I would go back in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and book your next stay with them!

This might be a long post 🙂 This was hands down one of the best places my wife and I have ever stayed at—and we’ve traveled quite a lot. I had planned a 5-day trip to Sri Lanka for my wife’s birthday, with the idea of staying here for 2 nights and then moving to Colombo for the rest. But we ended up staying here for 4 nights straight, simply because it was that blissful. I can’t point to just one reason—we loved everything. Here are a few highlights: 1. The Location Perched on the highest point in Mirissa, this place offers the best view in town. You don’t need to go anywhere else for the sunset—just grab a drink, head up to their terrace, and enjoy. Plus, it’s only a 5-minute walk to Mirissa Beach. 2. The Food Unlike other hotels, there are no standard buffets here. Instead, a thoughtfully curated menu of Sri Lankan and European dishes. The food was absolutely outstanding—simple, fresh, and delicious. I’m a vegetarian, while my wife eats chicken, and both of us loved every meal. 3. The Rooms & Facilities We stayed in a double room—spacious, spotless, and perfect. The property has two swimming pools, one at the top with breathtaking views. What stood out was how well-maintained they were, with little to no chlorine, so no itchy eyes—such a thoughtful detail. 4. The Hospitality One word: Finest. From the receptionist to the GM to the owner, every single person radiated warmth and positivity. When I had an issue with my Forex card, they went out of their way to help. They surprised my wife with a birthday cake and even gifted us souvenirs. Honestly, they made us feel like family. “It felt like home away from home.” We’re already planning to return, this time with more family, just to experience it all over again.

Bienvenido Cozy Madiha se nachází v destinaci Matara a nabízí ubytování s venkovním bazénem, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, zahradou a terasou. Pláž Madiha Beach je 100 metrů daleko. Amazing stay, comfy beds and nice pool. Staff were amazing, Anusha was a great host.

Devon Surf. Inn - Hiriketiya se nachází v destinaci Dikwella a nabízí ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a klimatizací a zahradu s terasou. The accomodation and hospitality were absolutely brilliant - originally booked for 2 nights and extended for another. The room was very spacious, AC and a fan. The host invited me for breakfast the first morning and helped with anything I needed organising including washing and getting me a tuk tuk. The family is really so nice. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the lovely beach - surfed loads and was provided a beach towel when I asked!

Kaas Villas - Entire Two Bedroom Villa With Private Pool & Garden se nachází v destinaci Dikwella a nabízí venkovní bazén, zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu a výhled na moře. Kaas villa is a beautiful accomodation. The view is stunning and it’s just a 2 minute walk to Dickwella beach where you can swim, chill and relax. A tuktuk to Hiri is only a 4 minute ride. All the staff is super lovely. They made our stay extra comfortable. After a beachday you could use the outside shower in the garden and relax a little bit more in the swimmingpool! Should recommend this place to everyone! Worth the money!
