We initially booked AHAVAH just because we had an early morning boat tour nearby, but the room was so comfortable and the hosts so welcoming that I wish we could have stayed longer. Ashley was super responsive and helpful from the moment I made the booking, and his entire family is friendly and welcoming. The homemade breakfast was top notch, and they were kind enough to prepare it early so that we could enjoy it before heading out on the boat tour. The facilities were clean and we had everything we could have needed, including a washing machine, mosquito repellent for night (definitely needed), and good wifi. Highly recommend!

Location is on the main road and easy to find. But the best thing is the care and kindness Kerstin is putting into making your stay a memorable one. She made reservations for boat trip, restaurants every night we spent there, kindly offered to call the airport for our lost luggage. The only thing I regret is not knowing that her husband is a Romanian foodie - we would have brought him some supplies. So, shoutout to all Romanians going there: bring over some polenta flour / mălai and goat cheese and you will make a guy happy very easily.

Set on the picturesque "Golf Club" of the Ile aux Cerfs, the eco-friendly Bubble Lodge Ile aux Cerfs offers guests an unique experience amidst lush surrounds. Absolutely fantastic stay, which cannot be faulted. Lodge was perfectly clean, surroundings beautiful, staff totally professional, food delicious. I appreciated most of all the silence, complete peace and privacy. And the outdoor shower! The golf lesson was a nice finishing touch. We would love to come back.
