Beautiful views, excellent staff and we loved all the natural beauty of the property. Would stay again on my next visit to Omeptepe. The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

Situato a Moyogalpa, Rancho Tranquillo è una struttura fronte spiaggia a 34 km da Vulcano Maderas e prevede vari servizi, come un giardino e una terrazza. Immerso nella natura, un tramonto fantastico proprio di fronte al Rancho, il canto degli uccelli che fa da colonna sonora nelle giornate, i proprietari sono simpatici e gentilissimi e sempre disponibili, è stato davvero bello passare il mio soggiorno in questo posto immerso nella natura!! Se cerchi un posto dove poterti rilassare e disconnettere da tutto quanto è il posto perfetto!!!

We absolutely loved staying here! The pictures do not do this place justice. The cabins are carefully built, very clean, and very comfortable! They are equipped with the necessities so we could cook and make coffee. It is right on the water and we went out on the dock both nights for sunset. The cabins are perfectly tucked away so it is very peaceful.

È il posto ideale dove rilassarsi lontano da tutto e godere della bellezza dell'isola. Delfa la cuoca è dolcissima, super disponibile e prepara dei piatti vegetariani buonissimi. Non vedo l'ora di ritornarci.

We loved our stay here so much that we ended up extending a few more nights. The bedroom and kitchen are clean and comfortable. The hammocks on the balcony are a great touch. We made friends with the guest in the room next door which was a plus. The store on the corner of the street to the main road has chocobanana for 5 cords and yummy nacatamals on a Sunday

You can tell this hostel was put together over years with care and attention. Furniture is all handmade by local craftsmen, for example. I spent way too much time in one rocking chair that I wanted to take home with me. Estelle the owner and her family give it a very homey touch. Filtered water is free! Highly recommend it.

Everyone at the hotel was super nice and helpful to us, specially Carlos which we had the chance to share some time with him. The room was nice, the AC was working smoothly and almost noiseless, the shower had hot and cold water with a good amount of water and the hotel itself was feeling really peaceful, with a nice garden area with some chickens around. To us, after some days in cabins and eco houses, having nice walls and some crystal windows was what we were looking for. The lake is just at one side and you can see it while having breakfast, which by the way is pretty good. The place is close to some interest points of the island. I can only recommend the place.

Los Cocos provides fairly basic accommodations but what sets them apart is the quality of the staff. Marlon, his family and his staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating every step of the way. The food is typical Nicaraguan fare cooked beautifully with generous portions. We were always met with smiles. As we are practiced our Spanish, the Los Cocos team were patient and worked with us to ensure that expectations were well communicated. They spent time with us and got to know our children. The space is incredibly safe and the location is excellent, being directly across from playa Santa Cruz and the Saturday market. If you need a taxi, Marlon is more than willing to drive you wherever you need to go in a comfortable pick up truck. He can help you arrange horse tours, vehicle rental, kayak tour, hiking tour and whatever else you can imagine on the island. We have returned to Los Cocos twice, and we couldn't imagine staying at any other hotel on Isla de Ometepe!
