A balcony with sea views is offered in each unit. Wow! What a charming stay! Henry and Mariluz were such accommodating and generous hosts. Henry carried our bags all the way from the ferry landing. Mariluz made such delicious home-cooked meals! The lodge had charming landscaping and stone work, and the hot shower was something we appreciated on the rustic island. What a delight, after a day of exploring, to sit on the lounge chairs outside, read a novel, sip on a glass of wine, and look out at the magnificent view. Plus it was fun to look at Mariluz's beautiful crochet work! Amantani Lodge gets a ten out of ten!

I am so happy booking suggested this accommodation because I had such a beautiful time there. the view and the room is just perfect, at night from the balcony you have incredible sky, the family was so lovely and welcoming, always kind, I had different delicious breakfast every morning and even pancakes which I really missed! I booked for two nights and ended up staying four and could’ve stayed longer. I am really grateful for my time there, don’t hesitate to book if you feel tempted to go there.

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved staying here and would stay again in the future if we return.

There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with a hairdryer. Sat on the shores of the lake, the property offered beautiful views and sunsets. There is a mix of buildings for both rooms as well as serving breakfast and dinner. The real hidden gem was Guido, Sarah and their children who were delightful. We were able to engage in several activities, such as harvesting and thrashing quinoa that made it unique and educational.

Lots of animals around and activities to do. A highlight was when we kayaked to a beautiful beach nearby. You can hike the mountain above the village as well. Guido, our host, organized trips to Taquile and the floating islands. The meals were home cooked and simple but outstanding. Highly recommend for a peaceful place to enjoy the region!

We felt welcome from the very first second on, and they made sure to cater to every single one of our needs. They took us on boat rides (also on the traditional boats) on the lake, offered kayaking, and introduced us to the culture of the Uros. Everything exceeded our expectations by far - the lodge we stayed in had a glass ceiling extension, and we could see the stars at night while lying in our bed. The view at day was also spectacular, and we had a private terrace with two Deck chairs and a swinging sunbed. We particularly enjoyed the calmness at the Waliski lodge, since it is a bit further out at the lake and away from the touristy center. Particularly the sunrise and sunset were stunning. Also the meals were excellent and plenty. We truly enjoyed our two nights at the lodge to endulge in nature and refuel our batteries before heading to cusco for some trekking - we can only recommend this place!
