The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need and more, lovely little touches and the owner helped us with local information, places to eat, bag storage, taxi etc. We enjoyed being able to prepare our breakfast, leisurely, with local produce and sitting eating with a magnificent view. The view of Horta island lays out before you and the chairs enable you to lay back and enjoy the sunset.

Helen and Vera did everything to make our trip as pleasant as possible so we felt right at home in the guesthouse. The guesthouse is in a good location with great views over the ocean. The suite we stayed in is spaceous and comfortable. The breakfast was super good with local products and Helen and Vera made something special (pancakes, banana bread, etc.) every day to surprise us. Breakfast is served on a covered outside patio where we sat at a round table with the other guest, which we enjoyed a lot. We met nice and interesting people and had great conversations. Helen and Vera also gave us great tips for restaurants, sights and even running trails. We stayed at the guesthouse for nine days and really loved it. We highly recommend it.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Owners were super friendly and their house was very cosy with a nice garden and terrace. Just around the corner from the beach, where you could watch the sunset. Room was nicer than I expected from the pictures (the bunk bed was wider than it looks in the pictures and very comfortable). Breakfast was great with a lot of local foods. Very clean and equipped with everything I needed. And great price too. My biggest recommendation!

The host was extremley patient, we agreed in a meeting time, however I had to deal with other things and arrived in a delay, but she was very kind, professional. The apartment is pretty nice, refurbished, well equiped, close to the restaurants, to the stores and the ferry. From here you can explore Pico island go up to the peak and enjoy your stay in Madalena.
