I really appreciated the calm, serene setting, so much so that I stayed an extra night. It was just what I needed after a very busy week travelling down from Dakar seeing so many different things and places, this was the perfect antedote. The staff are a really lovely team, especially Mamy and Khassim - I’ll miss you both! I liked waking up to the sounds of nature, watching the crabs doing their rituals on the small beach, identifying various birds on the river and within the mangrove. The free kayaking is worth doing. Food was European style and three courses available for dinner, quality was decent. I met some other travellers and we had such a nice time, having apéro, dinner and doing a pirogue tour together. The Bazouk kindly arranged a taxi for me from Joal-Fadiouth. All in all I had an amazing time here, merci à tous 🤎

The staff was so welcoming and helpfull, so natural. The food was just amazing, she cooks very well. And las but not the least, their boatman is the "best", so professionnal, kind, and a "Chef".

There are various leisure activities, I can warmly recommend the full day tour with the pirogue to visit the Sine Saloum Delta or an evening run in the suroundings of the hotel.

After a stormy ride with a lot of rain, we arrived at King Baobab lodge. We were kindly welcomed by the lady at the reception and were offered bissap (small gestures we really like). Due to the heavy rainfall the initial booked room was having some leakage problems, but the staff suggested to switch rooms immediately. Which was really nice. The AC was working accordingly. The diner (3 courses) and breakfast was lovely and the drinks at the bar are super affordable! We enjoyed the pool and the lovely wooden bridge towards the beach. The hotel has it own beach area with sunbeds, which is nice!

Villa L'Aldiana si trova a Dianori e prevede WiFi gratuito, piscina all’aperto, zona spiaggia privata e terrazza. C’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. Sagar is a fantastic host, she was so helpful in both arranging my transport from Dakar and back to the airport. She really goes out of her ways to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I even got invited on an evening grocery shopping tour to the market and fishing port area where I could get a glimpse of the locals' real lives outside the "resort area". The meals you get are hearty and home-made, freshly prepared and abundant. Both breakfast and dinner were really really good. The room and the bed were squeaky-clean, bedding comfortable. Really appreciated the spacious mosquito net over the bed which didn't constrain the space. Bathroom is nice and well-kept. Sagar also did help in arranging a pirogue tour around the mangrove areas, so anything you need that can be arranged, she will most probably take good care of. A very nice host, and a very fine stay here!

LE 17 to DJIFFER offre la vista sulla piscina a Palmarin e dispone di ristorante, sala comune, bar, giardino, piscina all'aperto e terrazza. Ottimo posto per rilassarsi, tranquillo e fuori dalla confusione. Ottima cucina e camere belle e ben pulite. Ottimo per la moto perché è dentro alla struttura
