It definitely exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a 2 bedroom one bathroom cottage and it had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, and the cottage had plenty of room for our family of 4. The beds were so comfortable and I had a good night sleep every night as did everyone else. Office staff were so kind and helpful. The whole experience with our stay was perfect from the second we arrived to our check out. We loved the property amenities and location. My kids especially loved the complimentary snacks in the office. Staying there we were minutes to downtown pacific grove, cannery row, 17 mile drive, Carmel, and right across the street from a wonderful mellow beach. We couldn’t have asked for more and would not hesitate to recommended this place to anyone. We can’t wait to return.

Carmel La Playa is 4 minutes’ walk from the beach. Monterey Airport is 5 miles away. I fell in love with a town called Carmel. I'm sure it's because of this hotel. It was a perfect experience. Next time, I will come with my whole family.

We loved the fire pits in the evening, creating a cozy and romantic setting. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
