The minute I set my foot in this place I felt like home . Cozy intimate small chalet with history ( the walls are telling it !) full of personality Friendly owners, authentic ,warm and easy persons Everything is right there at your hand perfect confort the Swiss pragmatic touch is there Nature around is glorious . Enjoy the silence in the terrace with view to the majestic mountains . Total zen Guests are discreet and not at all noisy ( there were some playing billiard in the evening but not talking loudly at all) An oasis of peace in a place that feels like home ! Authentic building, as long as I understand with several centuries of history, but looks and feels absolutely great, comfy and newish. Accomodation has a self check-in, check-out system, garden and big room with a fireplace to relax during rainy days. Owner and her assistant are both very friendly and willing to help, incredibly nice people. The chalet has guest parking and is located within 5 minutes from Brienz train station and lake promenade.
