Hosts were very polite and helpful. We had issues with our booking at another hotel, so this booking was done by BOOKING.COM. The hosts Tobias was kind enough to accommodate at the last minute. He prepared the apartment and was ready in an hour. Since we arrived late, Tobias has even provided groceries for late quick meals. The apartment was clean , nice and had all the amenities. The view from bedroom was snow clad mountains.

The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn.

Excellent one night stay in Lauterbrunnen. Drove straight from Basel airport and made it in time for a late dinner at the hotel. The room was neat with a modern bathroom and nice views. Excellent location for exploring Lauterbrunnen

We loved our stay! Location of the hotel is just perfect - through your window you wake up and see the 470 waterfall with its water spreading around. Kids loved to see also few landing helicopters hear the hotel during the first day of our stay. Location was very quiet - hotel is just at the end of the car allowed road coming from Lauterbrunnen. Restaurant was also great - big portions of everything but what we really loved were the soups. Great Gulash served there! :) We did not want our vacation to end and for sure we will visit again!

We absolutely loved the Alpemhof Mountain House!! We will forever cherish the memories we made in this beautiful location! We took the bus every day to Lauterbrunnen. We felt that it was super easy to get around, even if it's outside the larger town. Every night upon our return, we were so greatful to experience the peace of this place! I felt like we were in a Harry Potter movie half of the time. :) The host is also very welcoming and kind! We hope to be back one day!

Sweetest couple run the property, incredible views from a quiet village a short drive from Interlak en. Room was super clean and food provided was excellent. Definitely recommend a quiet evening meal in their restaurant too.
