I'm writing this review while enjoying the homemade sangria at the pool. What a wonderful B&B this is. Everything is perfect from the nicely decorated superclean rooms with excellent beds and all amenities you need, the exquisite luxury breakfast, the pool with attached jacuzzi. The owners really know what makes the difference between a standard B&B and a top-notch B&B and this is top-notch, no wonder why their ratings on booking are so high, Casa de Ambar really deserves this score! A highly recommendable place!

Really lovely place to stay in Alhaurin! The hostess, Lidja, was very helpful, and communication was super easy from start to finish. Comfortable and clean room, and breakfast was excellent! (Served on a beautiful rooftop terrace too...). I would recommend Casa Amapola to anyone.

Absolutely everything, the room was gorgeous. The bed so comfortable, the room was really cool as well (plus air con!). In the most perfect location, but would advise having a car as taxi’a can be expensive.

We spent 4 wonderful days at this charming Bed & Breakfast in Malaga and couldn’t be happier with our stay. The hospitality was truly exceptional, warm, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. I visited with my mum, and we had a truly wonderful time. Steve and Marina are exceptional hosts—the best I’ve ever had. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they consistently go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. On top of that, they are genuinely lovely people. They also have a couple of adorable cats who are very well-behaved. If cats aren’t your thing, they’ll politely keep their distance. The garden and pool are fantastic, and the small gallery is a great addition. When we had a rainy day, we spent it in the gallery by the pool, enjoying board games, drinks, and food. It was a lovely experience. Like any house, there are minor things here and there, but I know Steve and Marina are already working on updating some of the furniture and facilities. Honestly, these details didn’t bother us at all. The convenience of the neighbourhood, combined with their outstanding hospitality and the beautiful deck and pool, made for a truly lovely week away. I couldn’t recommend this place more, and we’ll definitely be back!
