We had a blissful stay at Chez Mamylette and cannot recommend it enough. Eric and Martine were simply the best hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Eric could be a great concierge in a 5 star hotel! He made some amazing recommendations for day trips and restaurants. The breakfast was yummy and having it on the beautiful balcony was a bonus. Chez Mamylette is in a lovely village location and it really is very special. We wished we had stayed longer! The rooms are quirky and rustic - spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need. Excellent place and we will definitely be back! Thank you Eric and Martine - you really have a special place. Elaine, Eddie & Ember x

A really interesting old townhouse that has been brought back to life with care, style and a touch of quirkiness and humour. We were fortunate to be able to stay in a larger room than we had originally booked and it was really wonderful. Large comfortable bed and great pillows (including rectangular ones which we prefer to the large square French ones). Fantastic bathroom with large shower enclosure. All done with beautiful taste - even down to the reproduction light switches but also up to date with USB sockets in the same style. Lots of interesting spaces around the house and garden where you can sit quietly and read a book. Breakfast was fresh and generous and served on beautiful old crockery with proper napkins - nothing was too much trouble. Our hosts were both welcoming and helpful - and we enjoyed their two friendly Dachshunds too. Fantastic location for exploring the Pyrenees within easy reach of the high mountain passes (Tourmalet, Aubisque, Aspin) and also Lourdes or through the Bielsa tunnel to lovely Ainsa in Spain. The icing on the cake for us was the secure parking garage around the corner - which was the perfect town centre solution for our soft top Morgan.

The owners are really nice and friendly. Especially the first night when we arrived they drove us to the restaurant for dinner (we were travelling by bikes and already had a tour of more than 100 km and > 3000 altitude behind us). Our suite was perfect to relax after some sportive days beforehead.
