Great overnight stop. Very quiet. The old building is amazing inside and they've thought of every little detail. I really liked the chains and lifting gear left from the old mill. Nice walk alongside the river on an old railway line, and lovely old station building.

We can't fault Le Relais Napoléon at all. From being there to check us in late into the evening, to the beautiful spaces they have created, to the comfort of the beds and the amazing shower, all the way through to the breakfast selection being perfect. I loved this place, and especially their beautiful garden. We sat there each evening. Pascal and Katherine are wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. My French improved a lot, as I spoke it a each day. It is an area with little English. Pascal's food was delicious too. Breakfast was huge! Please be aware, that you really need a car here. We were aware and travelled a lot. It is a lovely and quiet part of France. This, for us, was the perfect place for what we wanted.

Welcomed by the father of the host who was completely charming, lots of hard work has gone into the house to get it to such an incredible standard, it is beautiful. There are so many repurposed & restored old pieces it gives the place a perfect vibe. It’s in a small village but feels as if you’re in the countryside. Had an enjoyable breakfast in the morning. Everything was perfect.
