The place is excellent. We booked it at short notice and Larry was there expecting us on arrival. He and his family were excellent hosts going over and above what was expected. A perfect countryside escape for our family We had the most relaxing stay at Riverside Cottage as a family, and we couldn’t recommend it more. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The cottage itself is beautifully presented, spacious, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a kitchen and cozy living area. The setting is so peaceful, nestled beside the river and surrounded by nature. In the evening, we dined at Basil Sheils, just down the road, and the food was outstanding—homemade, hearty, and family-friendly with a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast there the next morning was just as impressive. It’s a brilliant place for families looking to unwind and reconnect. Whether you want to explore or just relax by the river, Riverside Cottage offers the best of both. We’ve already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back again ourselves!

Hotel is close to main highway, and easy to reach for car traveller. Room was spacious and comfortable bed at least for me. I appreciated a possibility for late arrival. Breakfast was excellent - I also liked the tick-box sheet for ordering the breakfast on previous evening. That efficiently reduces the food waste. My room was in top floor, and stairs are quite steep. Not a problem at all for me, but worth knowing. The area is quiet, and view from room or breakfast area was very relaxing. Friendly and helpful owners, felt welcome from very beginning.

Conveniently located, Bannview is a short walk from the railway station and 5 minutes walk from Portadown town centre, providing an ideal base from which to explore County Armagh.

Very new and very clean B&B experiance. The breakfast was great and so was the host!

With garden views, Blackwell House is situated in Banbridge and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace.
