I loved that the property was a good one hour walk into town, as walking is my passion. I should add that I chose it based on location for this purpose and was very lucky with the weather. There is ample parking for guests that use their cars. I really liked the old style interior decoration and warm atmosphere of the guest house, particularly the breakfast room. Very clean.

The house is a beautiful, the room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. There was a lovely selection for breakfast. But most if all, Nicky is a brilliant host. She went out of her way to help me when I developed car problems during my stay. She couldn't have done more for me.

Charlotte really spoils her guests for breakfast. Lovely, cozy room (we made the beds on the fotos. Charlotte arranged it better than we did :)) Both Alan and Charlotte are very warm, helpful hosts. We would love to meet them again and be happy to return.
