We had a wonderful overnight stay in the annex at Cherryford House. We had a warm welcome and the annex had everything we needed for our one night stop over and was beautifully furnished. Walks onto the moors directly from the doorstep and wonderful pubs, cafes and shops in Chagford, a 12 minute drive away!

Very authentic atmosphere, feels like living in the past century :) would definitely recommend to stay here while you go hiking in Dartmoor! Great host and great food at the pub downstairs!

Lovely place with very welcoming staff. Very good meals served in the nice pub downstairs. The breakfast also was good and substantial !

I did not know what to expect, as it had not been recommended by anyone, so when I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The tavern was charming and buzzing with locals. The host was very welcoming. We felt instantly at home. We had a drink at the bar and met the clientele who were so friendly. We met a lady who grows her own vegetables and so loves her local that she brings surplas vegetables to the pub for them to use in their restaurant. We didn't know what to expect with the food, but it was incredible. My daughter is a high end chef and she was bowled over by the food. The local, fresh, organic, untravelled vegetables were exquisit. What a little hidden gem in the heart of Devon but only 20 minutes from Exeter Airport where we had to catch a plane back to Jersey. I will definitely use this

A very, very nice place to stay, lovely location, with fantastic views. Very accommodating to personal dietary requirements. I would recommend Lovaton Farm to anyone looking to stay in or around Okehampton. And they accept dogs, too.
