In the middle of such a busy country, there is this little inn. O my god, what a lovely experience. Such a cozy, lovely place to spend the night. Also, the food was amazing and the people here are just awesome!

Beautiful country house set in a serene landscape. It has an old world charm that welcomes you in and makes you feel relaxed. The staff were attentive and friendly.

This is my second stay at The Bowman's. For me, it's good value for money, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff and within walking distance of where I need to be in Howden. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room and an added bonus of toiletries in the bathroom, if needed. Although they don't serve breakfast, I found a great cafe / pub next to the Minster in the Market Square which served a delicious and varied breakfast menu.

Situated just 30 km from York Railway Station, Comus Inn features accommodation in Selby with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as room service.

Fabulous place to stay, shame it was only one night. It is so well organised: self service continental breakfast. There is also a fridge and freezer for guests to use, plus cooking facilities. We had a private terrace with tables, bench, chairs to sit with a glass of wine and watch the cows in the field behind. Private gated parking was reassuring, we have a Volvo estate car and had no problem parking, easily enough space for us.
