This was an absolute gem of a find. Set in an old inn with modern annex rooms we could not fault any aspect of the stay. The inn has an idyllic setting in a tiny village, the sort of England that American and European tourists crave, Excellent host and a friendly pub with an excellent restaurant, Nice selection of real ales too. Room was very large and the bed was excellent as was the breakfast. Got tired out throwing sticks for the pub collie in the beer garden. Can´t recommend this place enough

We LOVED working with Maddie! She was VERY helpful and personable. The rooms were cute and the pub is cozy and THE FOOD IS AMAZING. It's an authentic experience staying here. It's not super clean or luxurious- BUT it's a real experience and I hope to go back.

Ideally situated just 15mins from Newbury, in a delightful village in the country, the Bunk Inn more than lived up to our expectations. Comfortable beds, a practical bathroom separated from the sleeping area, separate entrance from the pub and great meals. The breakfast was copious and well-cooked, with plenty of choice and the staff were always on hand. Will be back!

A lovely property just outside Newbury with a good bar and restaurant. The room was comfy and the fresh coffee was a bonus. Such a shame we could spend only 1 night here .

Everything is excellent at Tached Cottage. Warm welcome by Jenny and the dogs. Very spacious light and comfortable room with spacious bathroom. Small kitchenette with facilities to make coffee and tea. Breakfast items are ready in the fridge. On the table a bowl of fruit. We have stayed here 3 times now and will definitely come back.
