Donna was just the best host and Ivy Cottage is without a doubt, one of the best B&B’s we have ever stayed in. The decor, the cleanliness and the food were all exceptional. Cannot recommend Ivy Cottage enough!

Lovely old world pub with friendly staff, excellent food and a nice clean comfortable bed. Parking was available which was good and so nice to stay somewhere which had so much charm and cosy feeling.

An absolutely superb stay here on a week long tour of the area. Super comfortable beds and well equipped rooms. Staff were all friendly and efficient through bars and restaurant. A snug/lounge area is nice and ample seating outside on picnic tables to enjoy the evening early summer. A very good evening meal raises any rating for here as it nicely gives restaurant quality and certainly not bar food. Well done ... 👏

As I hadn't asked for directions we didn't find the private car park but managed to park roadside, but would be best to ask the owner. Lovely room with chunky oak furniture, fittings and bathroom with walk through shower and egg bath in bedroom. Breakfast was fine too.

Lovely room and en suite, plus sitting room exclusive for us with our own entrance. Mark and Nicky are excellent hosts, providing those extra touches to make it special. Comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep. Lovely breakfast, we had the full English! A quiet residential area yet only a few minutes walk to the town centre. we shall definitely stay here again when coming to Richmond. Found an excellent Thai restaurant for dinner.

Picturesque Yorkshire Village with The Countyman's Inn as the focal point of village life. The pub looks from the inside like you would expect an old English pub to be , with a few modern vibes ( german beer).The food is good old yorkshire grub , but more modern food is available too. And it's all yummy , especially the breakfast.The rooms are quirky but clean and have everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay here , and the service is superb.
