The most beautiful and peaceful surroundings with easy access to so many great places. The host, Richard, was an absolute star, and it was wonderful chatting with him. He gave us great local advice, even recommending an amazing Indian restaurant in Brecon! He also made the best English breakfast in the morning with fresh coffee and tea.

The room was cosy and clean. Staffs were super kind and friendly. We had curry for dinner and it was great, real nepalese curry! When I go for hiking in Brecon beacons again, I would definitely stay here again.

This lovely, old stone building is at the foothills of the Black Mountains amid beautiful countryside and views of the Brecon Beacons. It has a restful feel, comfortable rooms and a free Wi-Fi zone.

The breakfasts were amazing! We were so pleasantly surprised at the bright, open breakfast room and the offerings. Our servers were locals and recommended both destinations for travel (Tenby was amazing!) and local restaurants. The spot is rural, just 3 miles from Hay-on-Wye which is a beautiful booksellers town. Amid the Welsh countryside which is full of gorgeous views and ancient castles. Unforgettable. The room and facilities were clean and modern.

The Old Ford inn is situated in Llanhamlach, 42 km from Kinnersley Castle and 45 km from Longtown Castle.

Beautiful house and rooms. Even had a nice upstairs balcony that you could sit & relax. Both hosts (Steve & Fiona) were friendly & helpful from the word go. Helpful in suggesting places to go & eat. Breakfasts were fantastic. Host brews his own beer - ask to try it. Highly recommend this place.

Friendly owners so helpful and good help finding our way around and drive to the next stop was amazing, Jen even made a take away lunch for us that we really needed on our mountain hike, we loved it here and the views are unbelievable, would really come back here when visiting the Brecon Beacons again.
