What lovely hosts! Interesting to chat to and interested in our trip. Made good suggestions as to where they thought we may enjoy, advising when we should book in advance. Great location at the top of the street. Never battled for parking. Our room was very pleasant and we were able to open the bedroom windows fully to get a breeze through the room. Breakfast was generous and very pleasant. Pre-booked time and order for breakfast the night before so there was no delay in being served. The sort of place you long to go back to. We certainly will! Oh and teddy bears on the beds are a lovely touch!

The lodge is very comfortable, clean and well organised. The staff were all really friendly, and everything we needed was provided for us. The rooms were also spotlessly clean. The location is also perfect for walking around Windermere and its surroundings. The communication was also really helpful. We walked up Orrest Head thanks to the recommendation from the hosts - a lovely view at the top!

We had such a wonderful stay at this lodge! The place is very cozy, spotless, and clearly well cared for. Since it’s run directly by the owners, the service feels personal and truly superb. The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk to both Bowness-on-Windermere and Windermere town, making it very convenient. One thing that really stood out was the thoughtful touches: complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and cookies, all refilled daily—something you don’t usually get at hotels. We booked this for our advance wedding anniversary and were greeted with a sweet little surprise, which made our stay extra special. We only paid a small amount for an additional chocolate treat, which was absolutely worth it. Breakfast was also fantastic, with plenty of options to choose from. You can really feel the love and care Rich and Ada put into running their lodge—it makes all the difference. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Lake District!

Location very convenient - easy walk into Windermere, restaurants etc. Accommodation very good, clean and comfortable. Fresh milk really appreciated. Hilton is a most hospitable and charming host.

    Jerichos Boutique is a beautifully decorated and furnished house. It is spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfy, free on site parking is a bonus and is in a nice quiet street. Great location- only a 2 minute walk to Windermere Train station, shops, pubs and restaurants. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and served a great breakfast. It is a 20-30 min walk down to Bowness lake and shops. Had a lovely 2 night stay. I Would definately recommend without hesitation.
