Monia Rooms was amazing. The hosts were lovely and very quick to respond to any questions & requests. The room was fantastic with modern ensuite. Use of the kitchen and lounge areas with also an outside patio area. Told to make ourselves at home and shown where everything was for coffees & cooking ect. Plenty of extras made available. Could not fault. Highly recommend. Walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets, and the old town. Short drive to Roman Villa.

Perfect location, clean and comfortable. The host was exceptional. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area. Just a note for the unwary, Piazza Armenia is terrible to try and drive in and the property is in a ZTL. The host offers nearby parking, so check the address of where the parking is and navigate to that if you are driving. The host was exceptional. We had become hopelessly lost and frustrated trying to drive to the property even though we could see on google maps that we were less than 500m away. After about 40 minutes driving around very narrow and steep streets we parked the car near the Cathedral and walked to the property. After hearing of our experience and our reluctance to try and navigate anywhere the host drove us to the car, got us to follow him to the parking area, then back to the property. Excellent service!

We left Taormina after breakfast and arrived at the Villa Romana del Casale before noon. The remains of the 4th century villa is definitely a unique stop while touring the island. Leaving the villa, it was a short drive through Piazza Armerina to the beautiful B&B Villa Bentivoglio. Our B&B hosts, Valentina & Luigi, welcomed us to their beautiful, typical Sicilian country home. The whole time we were with this lovely couple, we used the handy ‘Translate app,’ to accurately communicate. We were staying only one night so we were lodging in the recently renovated main house. After unloading luggage, Valentina offered us snacks and drink while telling us about the Villas property and amenities. She offered suggestions for dinner in Piazza Armerina, and shared there is also a pizza delivery service that will come to the villa. We drove into town, but decided to return to B&B Villa Bentivoglio without dinner, finding ourselves alone in the house. We were unsuccessful ordering from the pizza delivery service. We called Valentina and Luigi, who were in town, and explained our mess-up and asked them if they would call the delivery service for us. Our hosts offered to assist us. Foregoing dinner in town, Valentina and Luigi returned to the B&B, sharing FOUR pizzas and arancini. Luigi even opened a bottle of the wine created on their property! We were welcomed at their table as family. This 2-hour meal, communicating via the translator, was one of our favorite meals in Sicily, sharing stories and lots of laughs. The next morning, we enjoyed a hot breakfast, prepared by Giusy, by the pool. After breakfast, Luigi gave us a personal tour of the whole property, showing us the stand-alone, newly renovated guest villas, the garden and areas for future expansion. Luigi put the Land Rover in 4WD and we climbed to the top of the property to view the whole area. Luigi is very proud of the property… as he should be.

This is a B&B as you always want them to be. I always write my reviews about the accommodations at home after the trip. Then it’s easy for me to pick out the highlights and write a correct representation of the experiences and this in relation to the other visited places. B&B Villa Roma was the ideal place for me to stay during my September trip to Sicily. This in terms of reception, friendliness, comfort, cleanliness and location. I stayed there for 4 nights and from Piazza Armerina I also visited Villa Romana del Casale, Aidone and Morgantina. The B&B is located on the 2nd floor of a beautiful old building (no elevator) and has 3 rooms. My room had 3 beds (1 double bed and 2 single beds). Another room was a double room. Bathrooms are ensuite. I didn’t see the third room. Even though I travelled alone, I got the room with 3 beds. The nice thing here is that you pay per person where I have to pay for the room in many other places despite the fact that I was travelling alone. This room can therefore have 4 different prices depending on how many people you are travelling with. A photo is attached. Apparently this B&B is not very well known yet. In September there were only other travellers for one night. The ensuite bathroom was quite large, very modern and certainly comfortable. My spacious room was also very neat and comfortable. In the apartment there’s a kitchen where the owner comes to prepare breakfast, a dining room where it is served and an entrance hall. It’s possible to leave your luggage in that hallway on the day of check-out. Giuseppino is an extremely friendly and good host. When you check in, he asks you what you like for breakfast the next morning and at what time you want it. Then he buys everything and makes sure it’s ready at that time. Continuation of review below. There are no negative comments !!!

Clean modern spacious in great location. Bus to Villa Romana 50m away outside visitors center. The girls were great hosts, loved the breakfast with great views over the town. Good restaurants nearby, including the great Toto.

Rita is a great host who goes out of her way to make her guests feel at home (even offering to pick us up after dinner in town, although we chose to walk). The pool and grounds are beautiful. Excellent breakfast in Rita's kitchen, including fresh jam with strawberries from her garden. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great location - quiet but easy to walk to restaurants, shops etc. About a 5 min walk to older part of town. Parking onsite, clean and fresh. Had everything we needed, and received excellent recommendations of places to visit from manager. Kitchen not that practical, but more than enough with good size fridge and tea/coffee and simple breakfast making facilities to suit us. Would happily stay again.

Very warm reception with coffee, tea and home-made biscuits. The host who is a professional cook provided us with a very delicious meal in his private cave/restaurant opposite the B&B. Spacious room on a quiet backstreet.

Amazing hosts, an unbelievable breakfast of many courses, a huge room and everything super clean. Our hosts Nicky and Roberto were so helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to make dinner reservations and provide advice on where to park in town and where to eat. The views from this wonderful B and B were amazing and the location was close to town but quiet. We would stay again.

Very comfortable room, central location, quiet at night, parking is close by in a couple of places. Superb breakfast, very filling. A dinner option is available and I would recommend it to anyone. It's a great opportunity to try a range of Sicilian specialities prepared by a professional chef. Overall, a great value for money bed and breakfast place,
